At a time when pop metal was starting to sound stale from all the clone metal bands infesting the pop metal scene White Lion had Vito Bratta, a. They had a share of commercial success but they didnt draw a lot of attention to themselves from the excesses of rock n roll. It is a family friendly place so there are kids around but the landlord? Doesn't stand for any children messing about and the parents know and appreciate this. White Lion is almost one of those forgotten pop metal bands of the 1980s. In fact, there are no other members of White Lion to be found on this disc a notion further reinforced by the three photos of lead singer Mike Tramp gracing the inside and outside of the CD sleeve and the names of European session musicians in the credits. A number of flags and symbols were also present, including the Confederate flag and the Gadsden flag featuring the slogan Don’t Step On Me. Sadly, Ultimate White Lion is neither ultimate nor White Lion. ( I wasn't rushed.) so others could get their lunch. All cooked in oil or steamed so perfect for me. My Sunday lunch was a nice roast lamb, ( though I could of had beef, chicken, pork, gammon or a mix of two) roast pots, and veg. Being a lone female I was given a lovely table for four ( even though it was reserved for later) so I wasn't stuck in the middle of the pub on a solo table. I visited here today as I couldn't be bothered to cook, ( I tried last week but it was full) and what a lovely surprise, the staff were very friendly and accommodating.
